Samantha Kelly-Miller was born in the Bronx, New York and spent most of her school years in the New York City area.
Moved to eastern Pennsylvania, where some of her writing was published in her school paper. After graduation studied Latin and Greek
word roots and stems, archeology, then continued her education at Eastern Montgomery Co. for Nursing graduated in 1971. All during her
formative years, Samantha had a love for the written word.
Her father's parents immigrated to America and he was born off shore in American waters. Never allowed to finish high school; thereby
always encouraging his children to read and to continually seek knowledge by posing questions that invariably led to more questions!
Samantha also had a love for music and the arts, this was the direction she wanted to take with her life. However, she was encouraged to
go to nursing school because she had a proclivity for it. Also, her love for animals and her fellow man were factored into it. Although,
she did not want this as her career choice, she has not regretted this decision.
Upon graduation from nursing school, Samantha went on to work in the medical surgical and gerontology arena for approximately
ten years. She received her Certificate in Pharmacology and Phlebotomy as time proceeded. Studied scripture, going back to the Latin,
Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic translations.
Then decided to be self employed and became a private duty nurse. Samantha did not always need a registry to find herself jobs. She
aquired many of her cases through word of mouth. She had healing hands, a loving heart and a cognitive way of speaking with her patients
both verbally and spiritually. She truely enjoyed her profession and realized it was a calling.
Sometime around 1987, Samantha started having her own medical problems eventually relinquishing her nursing profession. Samantha
began to expand her thoughts and talents, and realized that she could again pursue her dreams of becoming a writer and exploring her
musical talents.
This brings us up to today where Samantha has suddenly found her inner being overflowing with music and the written word. At times there isn't enough time
in the day for her to get all her words down onto paper and her inner music composed.
Life truly is cyclic and one should never give up on their dreams because ......... Dreams really do come true!
